Overview of Activity
Using everyday objects from around the house, can you recreate a famous masterpiece.
Equipment Needed
- Clothes
- Fabric
- Cushions
- People
- Anything you want to add in the colours that work with your masterpiece
Instructions
- First, clear a large space!
- Now choose the masterpiece you want to create!
- Go on a scavenger hunt around your house to find items that match the colours of the masterpiece you are creating.
- You might have a duvet cover that is dark blue for a sky, a green sheet for fields, maybe a grey sleeping bag for a building.
- You could even use toilet roll for clouds! The main thing to remember is to ask your adults before you use anything!
- Now start to create your masterpiece, looking at the shapes and the curves that are in the image that you are recreating.
- Layer up the fabrics and items to build your picture.
